A typical EnglishWorks course consists of a total of 30 hours per week of one-to-one tuition in
3-hourly sessions, with a welcome break for a light lunch taken with one of the teachers in a convivial atmosphere in a local pub/restaurant.
At EnglishWorks we know time is short, needs are great and expectations are high. Our courses are specifically designed to eliminate time loss and focus on your immediate needs.
The luxury of a one-to-one immersion course allows you to focus on your immediate business
needs. During an EnglishWorks course, you'll have the opportunity to learn, practise and master
the language in an English business environment. Unlike other methods, an immersion course allows you to maximise your speaking time: six hours of one-to-one training daily, from our highly qualified and experienced trainers, supplemented by unlimited speaking practice with your coordinator and your hosts.
Prior to arrival, we verify your language needs, level and goals by means of a written and oral test following that, your team of 2 - 3 teachers assigned to you, create a tailor-made programme of study accordingly, which will be sent to you before arriving at EnglishWorks.
The course is concluded by an end of course progress report detailing your level, capacity in English and recommendations on how to maintain and improve your level.
All teaching materials are supplied, including a self-study or course book.
Our trainers are highly qualified and extremely experienced in the field of Business English. Many of them have had hands-on experience in the business and industrial world and where possible we match the trainers to the student's profile.
Working with 2-3 trainers enables you to benefit from different accents and methods which will create a more authentic working environment.
In one week, you can benefit from around 60 hours of highly concentrated learning; that is to say:
In only one week, you can achieve a level of Business English proficiency equivalent to a year of in-house training (typically 2 hours per week).
